Beauregard Claghorn (Kenny Delmar) stars as a bombastic blowhard from a small town in the deep south who is tricked into running for Senator against his wife, Magnolia (Una Merkel), by a couple of northern political crooks. The laughs flow thick and fast when Magnolia has Claghorn kidnapped "for his own good" and the plot goes hilariously awry. A young June Lockhart also stars in this slapstick family comedy.
